Grande Collection Hotel & Spa

I have booked this hotel for its very good review and it was indeed what I expected it to be. The staffs were extremely helpful and were all so nice! Very hospitable and kind. As it was my birthday during the time when I traveled to Hanoi I was so lucky to have been upgraded to a suite room on the 7th floor with wide windows and a small balcony. My bed was very comfortable and indeed I had a wonderful night rest. Having to stayed in their hotel for 3 nights was indeed a very nice experience --- breakfast was pretty good -- always a happy tummy every morning. And the hotel's location was a walk away from most of the popular sites. Taking the grab from the hotel was pretty easy too. I love the location as it is perfectly situated in the Old Quarter having to be so accessible to nearby touristy spots and local shops. I booked with them a car service from the hotel to the airport which was very reasonable at VND300,000 -- USD12.60 -- as compared to others offering it for USD15-20. Overall, I really would recommend this hotel. If there's this one thing that I didnt like -- It was the one floor that I have to take by staircase as the elevator is only up to the 6th floor. So I have to get off at the 6th and walk my way to the 7th floor through the stairs. Its just a small detail and wouldnt actually affect the overall stay in this hotel.

That was our second stay in this hotel after a cruise in Ha Long bay. Again, the staff was really helpful, professional and friendly, providing any help and information when needed. The room was perfect and the location made it easy to head back for a break in the afternoon after a long morning walk in the city. Again, breakfast was good and on our final day, we asked for a late check out which was possible for a very reasonable fee (we left the hotel at 6pm and trust me, it was needed to freshen up before going on with our trip in Vietnam). Definitely recommend this hotel, and I will keep it in my records.

All the staff members were super friendly and helpful. Especially Jenny from the tour information counter helped us with every question we had and was always there for us. We booked a tour to Ha Long Bay with her and it was awesome. The room interior looks very nice and the breakfast had a good variety, even freshly prepared egg dishes. The laundry service was super and very fast.

Location is olsLocation in the old quarter. Every things around. Room and bed are clean and comfort. Staff are supportive and friendly. Thanks for Ms.killi arranging our tour trips. qurter

I was first surprised the room didn't have a window, but after staying in Hanoi for a while I must admit it's a benefit. The streets are unhumanly noisy, and you'd enjoy the quiet of your room. Having an internal window to the bathroom is an unexplainable feature of all Vietnamese hotels. The good thing is there's Venetian blind. It's a good value for money, especially given the comfort of the room and location. It's close to Hoan Kiem Lake, the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long, and the beautiful Temple of Literature.
